Whether you are just beginning or are a seasoned expert looking to explore new areas of the craft, we offer a variety of classes, workshops, and special events to help you hone and expand your skills. Please select any of the events on our calendar for a full description and registration information.

Class Policies: Please note that advanced payment is required to reserve your space in a class or workshop. You may cancel up to one week in advance for a full refund or store credit, or up to 48 hours in advance for store credit only. For multiple-part classes, please ensure that you are available for all sessions prior to booking as we cannot guarantee you space in subsequent classes. Anyone taking one of our classes is entitled A 10% discount off of your purchases on the day you complete a class or workshop.

Class Descriptions:

Beginning Knitting
Class Duration: Two 2-hour sessions (Beginning Knitting A and B) held one week apart for a total of 4 hours.
Class Description: In this two-part class, you will learn all the skills required to complete basic projects such as scarves, blankets, shawls, and ponchos. Topics covered include reading yarn labels, understanding gauge, casting on, the knit stitch, the purl stitch, various stitch patterns, and binding off.
Skill Level: No experience necessary
Class Size: Limited to 8 students Materials: All class materials are provided.
Cost: $75.00 for the two-part class

Beginning Crochet
Class Duration: Two 2-hour sessions (Beginning Crochet A and B) held one week apart for a total of 4 hours.
Class Description: In this class you will learn all the skills necessary to complete a scarf or simple project. Topics covered include, reading yarn labels, understanding gauge, making the crochet chain, the four basic crochet stitches (single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and triple crochet), crocheting in the round as well as some simple shapes.
Skill Level: No experience necessary
Class Size: Limited to 8 students
Materials: All class materials are provided.
Cost: $75.00 for the two-part class

Children's Knitting
Class Duration: Three 90-minute sessions (Children's Knitting A, B, and C) for a total of 4.5 hours.
Class Description: In this three-part class, students will learn all the skills required to make basic rectagular items. Children will use these techniques to make a finished project at course completion. Topics covered include: casting on, the knit stitch, the purl stitch, binding off, and various stitch patterns.
Skill Level: No experience necessary. Recommended age is 8 years and up.
Class Size: Limited to 6 students
Materials: All class materials are provided.
Cost: $75.00 for the three-part class

Project Knitting/Crochet
Class Times: 2-hours from your scheduled start time.
Class Description: Project Knitting/Crochet is geared toward students who have learned the basic skills covered in our Beginning Knitting/Crochet classes but would like to explore new techniques while working to complete a specific project. Each student can select their own project to work on under the supervision and assistance of one of our seasoned teachers. Although this is a group class, start times are staggered so that each student receives individual attention at the beginning of their session.
Skill Level: Basic knitting and/or crocheting skills required.
Class Size: Limited to 4 students
Materials: Students may bring their own or purchase them at the shop at a 10% discount on the day of the class.
Cost: $40.00 for a single session or $125.00 for a package of 4 sessions. Sessions do not have to be used consecutively.

Private/Semi-Private Classes
Class Times: As scheduled Class Description: Our private and semi-private classes are geared toward students who prefer individual attention, would like a targeted session on a specific technique, or perhaps can’t make any of our regularly scheduled classes or workshops. Skill Level: Open to all levels Class Size: 1 student for private classes or 2 students for semi-private classes.
Materials: Students may bring their own or purchase them at the shop at a 10% discount on the day of the class.
Cost: $60.00 per hour for private sessions or $100.00 per hour ($50.00 per student) for semi-private sessions.

Build a Class
Class Times: As scheduled
Class Description: Is there a class you want to take together with your friends? We'll put it together for you. Custom classes can be built for groups from 3-8 people and are ideal for birthday parties, bachelorette parties, baby showers, or just because!
Skill Level: Commensurate with class material.
Materials: Bring your own or available for purchase at the shop a 10% discount on the day of the class.
Cost: Dependent on class size, duration, and topics covered.
